Easter Tablescapes 2012

I can't really blog about our fixer upper even though it is looking really good for the most part. We had the plumbing done the last couple of days and yesterday coming back from Wilmington I said I wanted to stop by and see the house. It was a
"God Thing" because when we went in the plumbing was leaking and coming through the new sheetrock ceiling. I am so thankful that God lead us to stop by. Oh the joy of home ownership. lol
I did two new tablescapes that I want to share. Even though this first one is simple (because we are actually going to use it Easter Sunday) I love the meaning of it. The cross is in the center. On one side the crown of thorns and the white burial cloth and on the other side the purple fabric and kingly crown. Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. How thankful we are for what He did on the cross of us. Many blessings to you.

I saw a cute saying that said, "You silly rabbit, that's not what Easter is all about." That's true but I just had to use my little yardsale bunnies. Enjoy!

  1. This is a great "Doublemint" post: two, two, two mints in one! The first one is a lovely representation of the true meaning of Easter Sunday. We celebrate Christ. Just like Christmas, I think the religious significance of the occasion can often get lost in the "fun side" of it all. Posting 2 tables shows that you understand there is room for both. I love the crown of thorns opposite the other crown. Very sobering. The 2nd table is festive and fun and I just LOVE the way you did the napkins!!!!!!! Adding the ribbon really kicks 'em up a notch! I wish you and your family a blessed and joyous Easter this 2018 and always.
